As a passionate group of animal enthusiasts, Gerdau was determined to extend support to our furry friends through their family skate event. Upon connecting with Blair at the Humane Society of Durham Region (HSDR), they immediately recognized the perfect partnership for their fundraiser. From the invaluable assistance received in the lead-up to the event through social media promotion, to the insightful post-event tour of the animal centre, Gerdau gained clarity on the impactful use of their funds. Leveraging the OHL rink in Oshawa, Gerdau successfully raised funds and collected donations for HSDR. We express profound gratitude to the individuals in our community who choose to be compassionate heroes for The Ontario SPCA.
