Sweet Milo was surrendered into our care at the Ontario SPCA Sudbury & District Animal Centre after suffering a severe leg injury. Without local access to the specialized surgery Milo would need, our team quickly collaborated to transfer Milo to our animal centre in Barrie for additional examination and care. Before the trip south, he was administered pain medication to ensure he wouldn’t experience any discomfort during the long drive. Further examination confirmed that Milo had a fractured femur close to the knee and would require surgery to repair his leg. The cost of caring for Milo which includes but is not limited to, surgery, along with post-operative care and physical rehabilitation has an estimated cost of close to $10,000.
We’re asking our fellow caring animal lovers to please donate - in any amount - to help us cover Milo’s bills. Your gift will directly support Milo's cost of care with our Barrie animal centre team. Together, with the support of generous people like you (who love animals as much as we do!), and the swift collaboration of our animal care teams, Milo’s leg will be saved!
Let’s help this sweet pup face a fulsome and happy future.
Please donate today and help Milo.
