Get active, have fun and save animals with the Sweat for Pets summer challenge
Sweat for Pets this summer with the Ontario SPCA and Humane Society's new virtual fundraising campaign aimed at inspiring people of all ages to get active and have fun with weekly challenges delivered right to your inbox. By breaking a sweat, sharing your accomplishments and collecting pledges in your community, you'll be supporting animals in need. Because of Covid-19, we have converted our Annual Friends for Life! Walk to Sweat for Pets, so challenge yourself and change animals lives with us!
Starting June 22, the Ontario SPCA will kick off 10 challenges over 10 weeks to raise funds to care for animals in need. Don’t worry if you register after June 22nd, all previous weekly challenges will be unlocked for you.
Once registered, get ready to sweat for pets with a fun new challenge every week, while encouraging your family, friends and co-workers to pledge their support.
Whether you have a pet or just love animals, there’s never been a better time to come together – virtually – as a community to have fun, keep moving and give animals in need a second chance.
Your fundraising dollars are always hard at work! Donations support programs and services provided across the province by the Ontario SPCA and Humane Society, including:
- Sheltering and adoptions
- Humane education
- Reducing pet overpopulation
- Emergency rescue and treatment
- Reuniting lost pets with their families
- Spay/neuter services
