Oakley is a six-year-old Great Dane/Bulldog mix. He came into the Ontario SPCA Orillia Animal Centre after being abandoned. After spending an entire week running in the streets in the middle of winter, he came to us weak, scared and cold.

It was discovered that Oakley was suffering from the effects of the cold winter elements. He was very cold, his skin was bright red and he was emaciated. Poor Oakley had a very severe skin infection that looked like he had rolled in sawdust, overgrown nails that were so long they were growing into his paw pads, and severe eye and ear infections.

Oakley has already started to regain his strength. His infected eyes and ears are healing, and his veterinary team is still working to return his skin and coat back to normal with daily medications and medicated baths multiple times each week. Will you help him get his second chance, and help other animals receive the urgent medical care they need?
